Sneak Preview
This is where I will work from the end of October, at Nakon Sawan Youth House. This is a house in the student area where students can come to hang out, watch TV, sing songs, eat, learn English, and if they want study the Bible. This has just been set up for one month already, they have found a few Christian Students, so a small Christian Union has started already. I will be helping out and taking part in a programme called “Trained to Serve” This programme offers a mixture of personal study of various issues as well as putting things into practice. Some of the things I might be doing include studying theological issues which are especially applicable to Thai people, 1 to 1 discipleship, organising evangelistic events etc. So I will kind of be like a relay worker. Just in case that doesn’t keep me busy enough I will also be continuing to study Thai!

Me in action!! Thought I better get some pictures of me actually teaching before I left so here I am. This lesson was about Adam and Eve I hope I have time to tell the good news before I leave.

Weather Report. Last week it rained lots and the river got very full. This week it has not rained and it has been very very hot. So hope it rains again soon.

Sorry it has been a while!! The last few weeks have been a little bit crazy!! Preparations for leaving working out what I will actually do etc etc oh and teaching too!!
First of all I would like to share a very exciting event with my readers. Here it is very common to have conversations as you drive your motorbike, and also when you are stopped at traffic lights, these conversations are normally with people you know, and up to the other night I was never stopped at traffic lights. Heard a “Claire” looked around it was a teacher I used to work with she is also the aunt of one of my students. So we chatted until the lights turned green! : )
