Taksin rally in Bangkok last weekend. Not everyone loves Taskin. He was the prime minister but had to step down a few weeks ago because of huge public pressure. People especially in Bangkok do not like him they say that he is corrupt and they do not want him to rule the country.
So there will be an election on the 2nd April, and he says that he will only be prime minister if he gets 50% of the votes. It is likely that he will get voted in agian as there isn't a strong opposition party.
Many are protesting that he resigns completly, and steps down from the re-election.
